Does IE support resuming a download?
Generally, *if* you reconnect to the download site while
the partial load is still in the cache, and *if* the
downloading server supports resume, and *if* the server is
not one of many (ie part of a server farm) then just
clicking on the link should allow the download to resume.
It is because of this that I use Opera for downloading (I
don't use freeware downloaders because of spyware and other problems).
Windows XP SP2 *will* support resuming a download, but
*only* for Windows Update (Version 5 and later):
